依據 ISO 官方最新的調查顯示，2013年12月全球共計發行1,541,983張證書，較去年多了4%。
ISO 這項年度調查已維持了30年，持續為全球 ISO 管理系統標準提供實際情況。從往年的趨勢觀察，最新版本顯示調查中7項 ISO 管理系統標準的確實績效。
值得一提的是，有2個部分對未來有項特別的承諾，反映世界對永續發展議題的關注，包括日趨嚴重的能源短缺問題和永續環境的問題。最值得注意的是，環境管理標準 ISO 50001 在 2012 快速成長後，至今仍以116%的比例成長；以汙染嚴重的中國為首主導的 ISO 14001 環境管理導入也在許多地區增長了20%。
