There is No Shortcut to Any Place Worth Going

Some might say...of course but when you really think about every  Spiritual Laws of Money Review aspect in ones life that may be applied to, it makes you think. Whether it pertains to a life changing move, career or such a mundane task of grocery shopping there really is no shortcut to any place worth going.

Some thoughts that come to mind are when we paint a room, one might skip the preparation in hopes of finishing sooner and we all know how that works out. It is so much better to take your time to ensure it is done right so to not have a headache later. When grocery shopping it just makes sense financially and for time management purposes to create a list and of course cut those money saving coupons. When thinking of relocating...of course it makes sense to first organize and take the appropriate steps to ensure a smooth move. When implementing a job search it is imperative to remember especially in these current economic times that any place worth going could take some added effort to get to the place you want to be.

A story that comes to mind is one of which a young couple I once knew very well made some very poor financial decisions and were very deep in debt. What happened was that they sold a home in NY and made a good profit on a 50 year old track home. They then moved to what they were led to believe as a cheaper way of life and were offered a better paying job. Well, it seemed like a no brainier to the couple and it would have worked out fine if they would have planned better after receiving the windfall from their first home. What did happen is they went in over their heads thinking they had a lot more disposable income then they actually had. The husband lost his job due to a spiraling economy and they were deep in debt. A job opportunity arose in a different state which was more expensive, they had to sell their dream home, endure a mountain of moving cost and let's not forget the substantial debt. Well, fast forward seven months and the couple is starting to dig their selves out of debt, their children are flourishing in a top notch school system and an opportunity is being implemented as we speak to create a cash flow to enable the couple to pay off their debt. Without what the family calls a three year vacation from life......they would not be on the track that they are now on.
