How to fix Google contacts not syncing on android Oreo

Step 1: Go to settings in your android Oreo

Step 5: Disable contacts

In android central forum user said the contact sync issue occurred when you add your Google Plus contact directly. When add a contact directly, the profile URL for that people in Google contacts is a web link for their Google+ profile. Now open Google contact list and remove the profile URL from list.
3RD METHOD: CLEAR CACHE & DATA OF CONTACT STORAGE
Step 1: Go to settings in your Oreo 8.0 & 8.1
Step 2: Tap on apps & notifications
In android Oreo devices, you can see recently opened apps option.
Step 3: Tap on See all apps
Step 4: Tap on three vertical dots at top right side corner
Step 5: Tap on show system
Step 6: Scroll down up to contact storage and tap on it
Step 7: Select storage

You’ll see this message on screen: Delete app data?
Step 9: Tap on OK
It will permanently delete all of this contacts app data including accounts, settings and all other app date in your android Oreo 8.0 and 8.1 devices.
