Before proceeding to deleting your Yahoo mail account, it is important that you first backup all your data before you permanently loose it.
You should also backup your most important emails.
Is It Possible To Reactivate My Account?
Yes it is. You can reactivate your account even after you have marked it for deletion, but you have to do this within 90 days after deleting it.
You can reactivate your account through regular Yahoo Mail web page. Once you have done so, you can then receive emails again.
Note: Your username and email address will be available for others to make use of in the future when you delete your Yahoo account.
How To Delete Your Yahoo Mail Account
Step 1: Open the Yahoo’s “delete user” page
Step 2: Sign in using your username and password
Step 3: You will be required to enter a Captcha to make sure you are not a bot.
Step 4: Once You are signed in, you will be provided with two options; Terminate this Account or Return to Account Information
Step 5: Click on the Terminate this account button
You have officially deleted your Yahoo mail Account.
