Troubleshoot AOL Mail not working on iPhone

For solving the issue of AOL mail not working users need to implement the following troubleshooting steps:

 

  • Make sure to have a good and active internet connection. Users can also try to reset Network Setting of iPhone and then again reconnect with their Wi-Fi using correct password to see if the error is solved or not.
  • You can remove AOL account from the iPhone and then try to configure the AOL mail manually by using the settings given below:
      1. Choose Setting from the Home screen of the iPhone
      2. Click on the option of Mail, Contacts, and Calendars
      3. Tap on ‘Add Account’ from the account section
      4. Choose the account type of your email
      5. Under Mail, Section click to add account
      6. Enter the information about your Name, email address, and password
      7. Now select IMAP from the 2 option given
      8. You need to enter the details of incoming server and outgoing server too:Incoming server:            imap.aol.comIncoming port   :            993SSL security     :            sslOutgoing server:            smtp.aol.com

        Outgoing port   :            587

        Require sign in:              yes

 

  • Save these settings and then exit the Mail and then try to re- launch the AOL mail again.
