Consider using non-skid mesh shower slippers which you actually wear in the tub or shower. Some older style bathtubs have an extremely narrow base and make it rather difficult to locate a shower chair with that narrow of a base that's still secure and flat on the base of the bathtub.
It's handy whether you will need to create bathing comfortable again or would like to have somewhere to sit as you bathe the children.
