Diisopropylbenzene is produced by products of cumene synthesis in closed systems. These chemicals are mixed into gasoline, diesel and other hydrocarbon fuels. Diisopropylbenzene are soluble in ether, alcohol, acetone and benzene, whereas they are insoluble in water.
