Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) is a soft tissue filler used in cosmetic procedures to fill wrinkles and folds in the skin, such as nasolabial folds. CaHA fillers contain smooth, spherical microparticles that are similar to the mineral content of human bone. When inserted into the dermis, the microparticles stimulate the skin's natural production of collagen and hyaluronic acid. This helps support and train the skin to retain its volume over time.
