Foods that contain antioxidants:
An antioxidant diet should be rich in green and natural plant food. Whole GRS Ultra Review grains, fresh vegetables, and fresh fruits, especially brightly colored ones, are the foods that are generally rich in antioxidants. The red tinge of cherries and the orange of cantaloupes are indicative of the antioxidants contained in them.
Beta carotene
Beta carotene is a red and orange pigment which is an inactive form of vitamin A. It is found in fruits like papaya and mango, root vegetables like carrot, and many green leafy vegetables. Only an antioxidant diet has the ability to rid the body of free radicals. Free radicals are produced in the body when body cells come in contact with oxygen. The body ages when cell health deteriorates, and one of the reasons for the gradual cell damage and deterioration is the accumulation of free radicals in the body.
Lycopene
This too is a red pigment found in watermelons and tomatoes and other red colored fruits and vegetables. All the fruits and vegetables containing beta carotene and lycopene can be made part of an antioxidant diet to cushion the cellular damage caused by free radicals. A good antioxidant diet will contain a lot of antioxidants, and these will be able to fight the free radicals damage.
