Injectal injection

Composition: Each 1 ml. contains: Sulphadimidine sodium 330 mg.

Indications: INJECTAL is recommended for the treatment of diseases caused by sulphadimidine sensitive Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria such as Pasteurella, Salmonella, E. coli, Fusobacterium necrophorum and Streptococcus sp. affecting respiratory, urogenital and gastrointestinal tracts.
It is also effective in soft tissue infection such as; bacterial pneumonia, bovine respiratory disease complex, colibacillosis, necrotic dermatitis, calf diphtheria, acute mastitis, and acute metritis

Dosage: INJECTAL is administered by S/C or I/V injection :
The initial dose is :

Cattle, horse & buffaloes: 200 ml. INJECTAL / 300 kgs. B.wt. ( 200 mg. sulfadimidine / 1kg. B.wt. ).

Calves : 40 ml. INJECTAL / 60 kgs. B.wt. (200 mg. sulfadimidine / 1kg. B.wt. ).

Sheep & goats : 20 ml. INJECTAL / 30 kgs. B.wt. ( 200 mg. sulfadimidine / 1kg. B.wt. ).

Followed by half the dose for 5 days.
Intravenous injection should be administered slowly.
