Albendazole 2.5% Pharma Swede
Composition: Each 1 ml. contains: Albendazole 25 mg.
Indications : ALBENDAZOLE 2.5% – PHARMA SWEDE is indicated for control of different types of worms and adult liver fluke in cattle & sheep.
Cattle :
- Roundworms infestation by Bunostomum, Chabertia, Cooperia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus,
Oesophagostomum, Ostertagia, Strongyloides and Trichostrongylus spp. - Lungworms infestation by Dictyocaulus viviparus.
- Tapeworms infestation by Moniezia spp.
- Adult liver fluke infestation by adult Fasciola hepatica.
Sheep :
- Roundworms infestation by Chabertia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus
( including N. battus ) , Oesophagostomum, Ostertagia and Trichostrongylus spp. - Lungworms infestation by Dictyocaulus filaria.
- Tapeworms infestation by Moniezia spp.
- Adult liver fluke infestation by adult Fasciola hepatica.
Albendazole is ovicidal and will kill fluke and roundworm eggs, thus reducing pasture contamination.
Dose: To be given orally as a single dose.
- Cattle:
- For Roundworms and Tapeworms: 1.5 ml / 5 kg. B.Wt as a single dose.
- For Adult flukes: 1 ml / 2.5 kg. B.Wt as a single dose.
- Sheep:
- For Roundworms and Tapeworms: 1 ml/ 5 kg. B.Wt as a single dose.
- For Adult flukes: 1.5 ml / 5 kg. B.Wt as a single dose.
