Using my asset inventory company as anThe Light Code Reviewexample, I have been able to serve my passion for helping others. I will share with you that I don't have a passion for counting things. I don't jump out of bed in the morning and exclaim, "I get to count stuff today!"
However, that is exactly what I do each time I am hired to create an inventory for a home or business client. So, do I have passion for what I do? Absolutely! Counting and recording the assets owned by others so they can protect their financial future is very rewarding to me. Therefore, the inventory industry is the vehicle I have chosen to take on the journey to feed my passion. While I am serving others, I am achieving success. My passion is being served.
Most people have a multitude of choices regarding what they could do to serve a passion. I could have chosen another way to help others. There are a variety of avenues to an end result - to serve a passion. This is not to take the concept of passion lightly; you must have passion for what you do so you can eventually achieve the success you desire. If a passion for the success you seek wanes, then all the elements of the greater vision will take over and block the result you're seeking.
Passion for the end result, for you to serve, work, or play at whatever you have a passion for, allows for all the little annoyances to be ignored, tolerated, and worked through. This allows you to enjoy reaching for and serving your passion.
