(location), UK – Formed in 2017, MASK combines cutting edge lyrics and a raw rock/blues sound to offer up a new twist on a favourite sound. With the release of their debut EP, The Truth, fans are finally able to immerse themselves in the band’s vintage 60’s and 70’s undertones.

If you like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Kinks, you will love Mask. Their music brings together that famous rock sound of the past and the modern rock stylings of The Black Keys, BRMC and more. 

The much applauded EP, The Truth has a very real, raw and honest sound that fans of Mask have taken to. Song titles on the EP include I Miss You, Wink and the Gun, Damaged Goods, Suffer in Silence and Hurt Like You, all of which evoke an emotional response from the listener which, in all actuality, is what music is supposed to do and what Mask believes is the essence of real rock. The band’s Spotify account is all new and includes their new EP as well as some tracks that you might not have heard before. 

When asked where the idea for the band’s lyrics come from, singer/songwriter H, stated “I have no idea! What I do know is that I am always looking and listening out for a song - from reading books, overhearing conversations to just getting on with my life.  It’s all just a waiting process for something magic to fall out of the sky.”
