AT&T’s prepaid subsidy is giving new customers a great deal offering the Microsoft Lumia 650 for $49 if they bring their number when they switch.

If you are in the market for a Windows 10 powered budget smartphone and you’re considering ditching your phone carrier and that contract you may be tied down with, Cricket Wireless has a deal for you. The Microsoft Lumia 650, which you might be familiar with already, is available through AT&T’s prepaid service for just $49 rather than the usual $199 official price tag if you were to buy the phone through Microsoft’s website.

The Lumia 650 sports a 5-inch 720 pixel Clearblack HD display giving users better visibility in sunlight settings which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 212 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable memory, and a 2,000 mAh battery. In terms of camera quality, the Lumia 650 features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Only the black, single-SIM variant of the device is being offered through Cricket at this time.

Cricket’s plans include unlimited talk, text, and data regardless of which plan you choose. For $40 per month, you have 2.5 GB of high speed data to use but if you want more, for an extra $10 per month, you can double it to 5 GB of high speed, 4G LTE data. $60 gives you 10 GB of high speed data and if 10 GB still isn’t enough high speed data for you, well $70 per month gives you unlimited 4G LTE data. If you opt into their autopay service, you can take $5 off the price of any monthly plan.

This specific offer through Cricket Wireless is only available to new customers who bring their number to the service. If you’re an existing customer of the prepaid service, you’ll have to pay $110 for the handset rather than $49 but even still, that’s not a bad deal compared to the usual $199 price tag. This offer is available for a limited time but it was not said for how long to be exact.
