Accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour 10 Minute Awakening Review is the will of us individually, but the life, salvation is that we may withstand different temptations from the evil one. Above are the principles needed to begin a relationship with the Son of God. They are our responsibility; it is the responsibility of Jesus Christ to prove us worthy of having a relationship with him, so that we are called the children of God.
Here's my experience at the Marriage Encounter weekend. The weekend ended. I had been in tears for almost 24 hours. Relieved and exhausted. Rejuvenated and so much in love with my husband. Father Fred, who had been one of the presenter's that weekend said something that stuck with me.
He finished Mass that Sunday after noon and wished us all success saying 'Today is the first day of the rest of your life.' At that point, the enthusiasm and excitement to start on a new venture, was incomparable. As I remember his face, it was lit with delight.
The encouragement in his words was life-giving. As I stood in that small conference room, my mind filled with awe. The potential and power of that simple statement was enormous. How long will I live. In the grand scheme of this universe, a lifetime is only a few decades. It would make a big difference if we all woke up for even half of our lifetime saying, 'Today is the first day of the rest of my life'. We would feel the energy of a new beginning. We would see the endless possibilities that lie in front of us. We would have the courage to fight the battles that bring us down. We would see the fresh morning sky in a different light.
