Does It Really Matter?
I am a healthy 63-year-old man, active in every way.Thought Manifestation Review I own a couple of businesses, and I run 25-plus miles a week. I am in good shape. I never go to the doctor, and I almost never get sick. A few weeks ago I had a minor surgery to remove a growth on my tongue. The surgeon removed it. The follow-up pathology proved the growth to be cancerous. The report reads: "superficially invasive squamous cell carcinoma." In other words, it had not spread, and more good news: the surgeon got it all, plus tissue around it.
This experience brought home to me this truth: Everything I do to create wealth or acquire things that are material is meaningless. Just like Christ said about himself, I am nothing. The only things that matter are what I do to store up treasures in heaven.
Okay, what are the treasures in heaven? We know that the hearse will not have a U-Haul attached to the back to drag stuff into heaven. The treasures in heaven are the souls that, because of what I let the Holy Spirit work through me, are in heaven. I cannot do anything on my own, but I can do all things through Christ who lives in me.
