Exercise - The Wheel of Life The eight sections on the Wheel of Life represent Balance. Take out a blank sheet of paper and draw a circle. Make eight pieces of pie and label them: Career, Money, Health, Significant Other, Friends & Family, Fun & Recreation, Growth & Spirituality, and Physical Environment.Seeing the center of the wheel as 0 and the outer edges as 10, rank your level of fulfillment with each life area by giving it a number (0-10) and drawing a straight or curved line to create a new outer edge. You might want to add a category or two if something important to you is missing.
The new perimeter represents the wheel of your life. If this were a real wheel, how smooth or bumpy would the ride be? If you made a dramatic improvement in just one area of the wheel, which one area would have the most profound overall impact on the rest of your life and your overall sense of satisfaction and fulfillment.
