How to find the Love Required to Manufacture Tyres

Manufacturing

Manufacturing tyres is a complex science multi-skill immersed art pieces that require constant monitoring and a very tedious quality control process to produce the perfect blend of style and functionality. Tyre tubes for two and three wheelers are not just a round piece of rubber that holds a bit of air to make the ride smooth. A huge amount of this technology and art mixture is constantly improved upon by our research teams every year, but the basic concept is as described further. In layman terms, tyres provide a cushion of air between the machine and ground and stays in shape to diffuse any bumps in the road.

Any tyre is primarily made up of almost 50% rubber with a varying mixture of both synthetic and natural rubber forming its base. In this complex mixture a series of additives, metals, sulphur, carbon, solvents and even a bit of textile is added to create the perfect tyre depending upon its usage patterns and requirements. This mixture and its components change slightly if hi end motorcycle tyres are being manufactured but the overall process remains the same.

The mixture is sent through our state of the art rollers that produce this slurry into thin sheets of perfect thickness and add steel wires and beads at regular intervals to give the tyre much needed strength and long lasting capabilities. Beads provide the air-tight mechanism to attach the tyre to the rim.

Next in the process a carcass is made with weaving machines similar to the textile industry that uses specially designed rayon, polyester and other textile related materials to weave them into a tread-like pattern. These carcass strips are cut to the required length and attached to the tyre to provide grip and traction. These carcasses differ depending upon the requirement with tyre tubes for two and three wheelers having a slightly different variety of mixture than hi end motorcycle tyres.

Different tyres like radial and normal have slightly different construction techniques. Radial tyres have treads at a 90 degree angle whereas other tyres have diagonal treads. This is keeping in mind their different characteristics and usage requirements that greatly changes their handling, braking power, rolling resistance and wear and tear. Radial tyres on an average have longer life, have a much sturdier construction with sidewalls that makes them less flexible. Normal tyres on the other hand are softer to ride, lower in price and have a much higher load bearing capacity. Do not ever mix up these tyres on your vehicle as it could lead to worse handling and an eventual crash.

We are amongst the best producers of hi end motorcycle tyres in India as well as tyre tubes for two and three wheelers. Our range of tyres provide high performance with perfect ground traction in all weather conditions, expert and unique tyre patterns and tread provide extra stability while turning, reinforced and special steel integrations provide longer life and durability and the special mixture of raw compounds provides a slow rate of wear and tear for long life and high mileage.
