The reason for this is that the concept of sin in Islam is different than it is in Christianity. Allah's holiness in Islam is associated with His oneness and His unique, exalted nature. In Christianity, Allah's holiness means He is totally separate and unspotted from sin. This is why the sinfullness of man presents such a big problem for Christians. As men approach Allah their sin separates them from Him. In Islam, this concept is missing. This article develops this issue a little further.
