What New Coming with .NET Core 3.0?

On March 6th, 2019 Microsoft announced the .NET Core 3.0 Preview 3. The new upgraded .NET Core 3.0 is touted to be a great boost for any dot net development company. It will have improved .NET Core SDK installers, Rage, Docker containers, and Index. The new .NET Core 3.0 will also have updated versions for Windows Desktop and Entity Framework projects.

For Microsoft App development companies the new .NET Core 3.0 is quite beneficial because it will have a new C# extension update, which can be availed by those using the VS Code and will also include C# compiler. For any ASP .NET development services, it is required for using the new C#8.0 syntax. The C# compiler is also aligned with .NET Core Preview 3 and Visual Studio 2019 Preview 4.  However to make the C# compiler work any ASP.NET application development programmer has to download the extension after that needs to install it in VSIX in VS Code.

.NET Core 1:

NET Core platform. In 2016 the first version of .NET Core began that opened up huge scope for Microsoft app development companies since it was an open source, cross-platform. New Features in .NET Core 3.0

For the new .NET Core 3.0 version there are several new features that will be added to the platform and it will prove to be immensely beneficial for the developers as well as the clients. Some of the features that will be added in the .NET Core 3.0 are:

•    It will support scenarios that will use the Internet of Things (IoT). With this, a developer would be able to program hardware pins on devices like Rasberry Pi and similar. This would help in controlling devices and read sensor data. The .NET Core 3.0 have new IoT device will support ARM64, which will complement the already existing ARM32.

•    It is also good news for .NET developers as it will provide full support to ML.NET the open source machine learning framework that is made especially for developers using the .NET platform.

When Is the New .NET Core 3.0 Scheduled For?

All those who work with ASP.NET application development has been asking the question when is the new .NET Core 3.0 will be released and whether Visual Studio 2019 will have .NET Core 3.0. Well, Visual Studio 2019 was released on April 2nd, 2019 and it did not include .NET Core 3.0, rather it had .NET Core 2.1 and 2.2. Microsoft is planning to start shipping the .NET Core 3.0 around the second half of 2019 and around its time of release they will confirm the specific updates they will have for Visual Studio 2019. However, it is believed that after the release of .NET Core 3.0 it will become part of the Visual Studio 2019 from that point on.
