But lately it seems like Epic was on a bit of a"wacky" streak, introducing items that Fortnite traps are more enjoyable than tactical such as the shopping cart.
Re-releasing the bounce pad to work in tandem with shopping carts seems like a thing that is being built to make YouTube highlight videos (SICK CART BOUNCE PAD LAUNCH VICTORY ROYALE!!!) . I guess as it's from the trap slot, it can also be utilized as a trap if you could place it onto a wall and have some unsuspecting player encounter it and bounce themselves off a cliff.
1 concept, proposed by my colleague Dave Thier, are that these most recent improvements are prepping for the upcoming combat-free mess-around mode where players can practice their movements, and possibly later for a true, Minecraft-ish creative manner where players can do anything they want without limitation, including making giant cart race tracks filled with bounce pads without even worrying about getting killed while doing so. I think Epic is realizing that they need Fortnite to be a kind of production instrument rather than only a combat-focused video sport. And contemplating Fortnite is the most popular sport since Minecraft, it seems like a pretty good idea to include those sort of components.
As I am far from a professional Fortnite participant, perhaps the reintroduction of the rebound pad will be more of a strategic edge than I am envisioning, but that does look more like a goof-around inclusion than something which will actually alter gameplay such as the launchpad or impulse nade.Usually these leaks often pan out, along with the item in question is from the game soon . That could be this upcoming week or another, but I would be amazed if we didn't see bounce pads back in the game soon enough. And free-build/creative mode not that long after.
