New Delhi: December 2014: Bihar’s CM Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi inaugurated the Additional Primary Health Centre located at Mehkar, Distt. Gaya at the event held at Mehkar, Gaya District yesterday.
This primary Health centre has been built by ACME in a short span of just Three months using the novel Prefabrication technology. This technology will help the state to not only to strengthen its infrastructure facilities but also help to showcase its efforts of bringing down the carbon-footprint and adoption of environmental-friendly technologies for nation building.
This Mehkar APHC will serve as a model infrastructure to the country that is earnestly looking forward to give strong impetus on development of its much-needed rural infrastructure as well as cut down its carbon footprint.
The state of Bihar aims to develop 7,138 new health sub-centres and 1,483 additional primary health centers using the prefabricated technology, EOI for which was issued by BMSICL under the Department of Health, Govt. of Bihar.

The highlight of this APHC is that it has been erected using the prefabrication technology that is green and viable solution that helps save money in terms of construction cost and time taken in all terrain and weather conditions.
Prefabrication technology is the ideal technology for construction and the need of the hour.
