The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has finally announced its test date for Junior Engineer (JE) CBT. The stage I test will be led from 22nd May 2019 onwards. RRB JE 2019 posts have been revised where previously it was 14,033 and now it has been settled to 13,487 for the post of Junior Engineer, Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant, Junior Engineer (IT), and Depot Material Superintendent. RRB JE Recruitment contains three levels of selection process first of all Computer Based Test, it has 1st and 2nd stages of examinations and finally shortlisted candidates have Document Verification and Medical Examination. The first stage CBT comprises of multiple choice questions. The question paper has 100 number of questions in total. The first stage CBT has 4 sections namely General Intelligence & Reasoning, Mathematics, General Awareness, and General Science.

Candidates for the 2nd stage CBT will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks got by them in the first stage CBT. The complete number of applicants will be shortlisted for the 2nd stage shall be Fifteen times based on the reservation and community wise. The total number vacancy posts are advised against the RRB according to their merit marks in 1st stage Computer based test. 2nd stage CBT has 150 questions and comprises of 5 Segments. Applicants obtaining the base score in CBT will be additionally called for the second stage as  Document Verification.
