Bratislava, Slovakia, June 16, 2014 - New party game announced launch on Indiegogo. The name of this simple game is "Drinking Viking", perfect "partystarter" for all parties. Drinking Viking is designed not only for larger number of players, but also for small gettogethers. Ideal for 6 to 12 players. All you need is just a pack of Drinking Viking cards and 3 dice. Small package that you can take anywhere.
Drinking Viking
The gameplay is composed of several short and funny mini games. Players draw cards one by one to know what kind of game they are going to. Some mini games are based on words, memory or creativity, others on luck, quick reactions and some could be even trickier because they are in action all the time. Each mini game has unique and simple rules. The Drinking Viking is consisting of 20 mini games. Game designers Martin Senkar says: "People will have fun playing short minigame like Vikings." Mini games have catchy names like Egg-chicken-dragon-viking, The Hunt, Thor's hammer, Odin and more.
Losers are punished at the end of each mini game. The way of punischment is up to you.
Drinking Viking suggests the following forms of in-game penalties:
Beverage Consumption. As Drinking Viking is a party game, losers can consume a beverage
Black Points. The loser of each round gets one Black Point and at the end of the game, the player with the least number of Black Points wins.
Strip Viking. Players are encouraged to engage their own "house rules" including variants of the beverage consumption model such as "Strip Viking."
Sport Viking. Playing as a sports game is a fun and exercise-encouraging version in which losers must perform push-ups, squats or another chosen form of physical activity.
The goal is to have fun and play the game in a way a player is not punished. The game ends when all cards are turned.
