What is GATE?
GATE is known to test the basics of Engineering in a shrewd way. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is mutually conducted by seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), IIT Guwahati, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, and Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Each year, GATE is organized by any of these Eight institutes i.e. Indian Institute of Sciences and Seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The general obligation and coordination of directing GATE are finished by that establishment which is assigned as Organizing Institute (OI) in that year. This test is directed by the National Coordination Board-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Government of India, and Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD).
Fundamentally, GATE 2020 is an examination which tests the complete comprehension of engineering and science subjects. All these Public sector organizations recruit Engineer Trainee (ET) based on the GATE scores. Initially, they would shortlist candidates based on GATE scores and then the process is trailed by GD and Interview for evaluation of various features of information.
