The Light Code Review

In psychodrama you can work  The Light Code Review through personal issues by acting out different scenes from your home life where you write the script and can learn to stand up for yourself and build self-confidence. For instance, we do not always understand how other people see us and psychodrama uses mirroring, where two people work together we as one and mirror each others behavior so you can see how others see you.

You can also act out a personal scene from your home life with pertinent other people in your life-- group members take on these roles-you tell them how that person would respond in the given situation, you have someone behind you that the becomes your alter ego and help you express your true feelings about the family so you can learn to stand up to them and express yourself with the self-confidence and tell them how you feel about how they treated you and what changes you want to happen so you can build a better relationship with them. This helps you to change some of your own thinking about the relationship and how to change your behavior so you can have a better relationship with other people.

In a transactional analysis Eric Berne talked about the parent, the adult, and a child. The tapes we hear in our head are the things that we heard from the time we were children until adulthood.

For example, the Parent says you should... the Adult says I am able to.... the Child says I want.... what I would like you to do is to write down all the things your parents told you you should do, write down all the things you have told yourself as an adult that you are able to do, and then write down all the things as a child you always said you wanted.
