This cute message by a small kid: Stallone, changes the way people think about Coronavirus

 

What started as an epidemic has now developed into a pandemic. This year started with a global threat, identified as the coronavirus, which has now spread across the globe, with a serious number of rises in the cases. 

In order to contain the spread, the government of India announced a national lockdown for 21 days, which met with a mixed response from the citizens; equally appreciated and criticized. However, even during the lockdown stage, the situation wasn’t taken seriously and we could still see people strolling down the streets without a reason.

 

Without an adequate and stern response and enough precautions, an epidemic has developed into a pandemic, causing havoc and calling for immediate and undivided attention, throwing all of humanity under a threat during the time of war with COVID-19. At this stage, this far into the war, precautions won’t pull us through it. We need something stronger. 

 

In response to the situation, Stallone, a two and a half year old kid, explained the depth of the situation with utmost innocence and yet at the same time, seriousness. In the video, Stallone referred to the virus as a monster, suggesting we stay inside or else the monster will come to catch us, while conversing with his mother. Stallone doesn’t want to leave the house because he’s scared. Shouldn’t we all be too?

 

Here, if self-quarantine is courage and walking out ignorance, then let courage be contagious and ignorance the pandemic. Let us all, like this little kid have the courage to stay at home, not only to save ourselves, but also the nation. It is our turn to do something for the country. If something as simple as staying at home can save the world, then let us all be a part of it. Together, let us save the world. 

 

Well, we know it’s not going to be easy. WHO till date has confirmed over 783,360 cases across the world with more than 37,000 deaths. There’s no turning back from what we have lost. Time is running and we can’t stop it, but we can make the best out of it. By staying at home during this time of crisis, we can’t reverse the more than 1600 confirmed COVID19 cases in India till date, but we can definitely reduce the rate at which it is spreading. Over 35 deaths have been reported in the country but there are also 123 people who have been cured.

 

Slowly but surely, we can together help to come out of this phase by following the precautionary advice raised by the government. Do your part in maintaining hygiene and social distancing. Respect the lockdown like Stallone does, because it’s for our own safety.
