DOTS911 Begins Fabrication of First Round of Devices Dubbed "Nine Lives"

San Jose, CA, April 19, 2014 - DOTS911, the world's first and only producer of mobile phone signal enhancer hardware and software, announced that fabrication had begun on its first round of commercial devices. The initial product series, named "Nine Lives" for its application as a lifesaving and general safety device, marked its official entry into the marketplace and fulfillment of orders placed through its successful Indiegogo campaign.
"We've demonstrated that the Signal Enhancers can increase data rates by 30 or 40x and that they can improve clarity of voice calls, so they're great for home use. But we think that the most important purpose of these devices and the reason we need to get them into our customers' hands now is their ability to save lives by enabling phone calls from what would otherwise be dead zones," stated John Wilbur, founder and primary developer of the signal enhancing hardware. "We're calling the first production run Nine Lives because it's going to save parents, save kids."
Products are expected to ship in the month of May, matching the timeline described in the DOTS911 crowd-funding campaign on Indiegogo. Production quantities will be sufficient to fill all orders placed by May 1, 2014.
Wilbur referred to previously published demonstrations of the effectiveness of the DOTS911 signal enhancing devices: "As we've shown with our on-site investigations, our Signal Enhancers let users make cell phone calls in locations where the most highly publicized recent fatal incidents occurred, where families have been stranded and unable to find warmth or shelter. If they had our devices, they would have simply called for help and gone home. We want the thousands of families who get stuck on roads or trails in dangerous conditions this year to have our devices and thus avoid the suffering and possible death they would otherwise face."
DOTS911 recently surpassed its initial funding targets in its Indiegogo campaign. Three models of Signal Enhancer and the signal locator app are available for purchase through the DOTS911 Indiegogo page.
