Day 2 of the Test series between India and South Africa has caused people to predict how the match will turn out. Test series finally begun, and for the first innings, India scored a total run of 202 and South Africa is yet to bat. The game in Visakhapatnam was in India’s edge as South Africa watched the opposing team score left and right.
In day one, Mayank Agarwal and Rohit Sharma were able to score most of the overall score of India. In the opening session before lunch break, the team already had 91 runs. Unfortunately, bad weather conditions forced the game to end in a sudden. Vizag was filled with dark skies as heavy rain poured.
Day two has been filled with a forecasted future as set by fans and online blogs. The pitch is a nightmare for the bowlers and heaven for the batsmen. It is to be expected that the Proteas will provide a bowling performance of less in comparison to the Men in Blue.
As the game moves forward to the second day, an abundant number of runs are to be expected from the India cricket team. The team’s captain Virat Kohli, plus teammates Cheteshwar Puhara and Ajinkya Rahane have all yet to bat. So indeed, more runs for India will be anticipated. These three are known to have excellent bowling skills which will be a nightmare for the batsmen of South Africa.
As per the weather, the forecast says that the weather would be much better compared to day two. The inclement weather that devastated the first day of the series stopped the game after tea time. Hopefully, for the second day, this will no longer occur.
