Speaking tonight during The Game Awards, Epic Games worldwide creative director Donald Mustard called to the industry introducing cross-play between competing consoles. Specifically, Mustard said gamers "deserve" cross-play.
His comments came after Game Fortnite Items Awards host Geoff Keighley pressed him about the matter, contributing to Mustard squirming on stage. Keighley brought it down because Fornite unlocked cross-play between PS4 and Xbox One to the brief period of time earlier this year.
