Monounsaturated is the good fat and it will lower LDL cholesterol and increase HDL the good cholesterol, found in nuts, avocado, and canola which is high MUFFS and this will help weight loss and body fat, especially in the stomach area.
Thinking about this is a good thing as we should watch these three with diligence and use them very sparingly. As we age the first thing that hits us is hypertension even though we have been 120/80 all our lives, this came along with no warning. Next thing that comes along is diabetics, and then high cholesterol, a gift from salt and bad fats. Understand the labels and eat these 3 items sparingly!
