Five Ways of Understanding the Power of Faith
First and foremost God is a spirit Duality and so we cannot see him physically. This makes it hard to tell whether or not he is with us at certain times. In that case it is even harder to understand how we are going to receive our hearts desires when he hasn't given us any kind of physical acknowledgments for our requests. The fact is God does give us the physical acknowledgment through his word. He has said that faith is the evidence of things hoped for. This means the stronger our faith is in him the more evident the believe that our desires would come to fruition. It is our faith in God that makes what we wish for come true. As the Lord teaches us, that a grain of faith can move mountains, it is by these words that we have proof that God is working on our behalf to deliver our requests.
There is always evidence in one form or another that God has made the impossible possible. Whether it is through us or through other people or even his word we would know that it was God's hand at work. This is another way of having faith in God. For every one of us that is a success by the natural laws of society there is another that is a success by faith. For those of us who believe in God we must seek direction from this and know that we can also achieve the same if we truly have faith in God. We should not be afraid to listen to the negativity as this gives us perspective. However we should look for reference from the past and seek our faith in the success of those who believed as we do.
One thing we all have to learn when we come to God is that he likes the world to see his hand in his actions. This means the success achieved by believers is not solely for them but for others to come closer to God to praise and worship his name. This is the main reason why the odds are often stacked against most people who achieve success through faith (The Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh until Moses had inflicted several woes on Egypt before he released the children of Israel). This success is not solely for them but for others to learn from and know they can achieve the impossible through God. If we truly have faith in God then we would know that he won't come to a place where all the answers are available to us. He comes to us when there are no answers, when the situation looks impossible. This way we know it is not by our power but by his might that we achieved success.
