Epic Games is updating Fortnite Items
Epic Games is updating Fortnite Items again to make changes to the limited-time Avengers: Infinity War mode, Infinity Gauntlet, which features the mega-powerful Thanos. Specifically, the update will change his attributes to make him stronger, but also somewhat less difficult to kill.
Furthermore, punch harm is increased from 80 to 100. Balancing out this somewhat is that Thanos' health currently stands at 500 instead of 800. Regarding these changes, Epic stated in a post on Reddit, "Our purpose is to allow more people to truly experience the power of Thanos, while also making you feel powerful when wielding the gauntlet."
Today's update also addresses loot drops in the fortnite traps Infinity Gauntlet mode. With the upgrade, just Rare, Epic, and Legendary-level weapons will spawn, which in turn needs to give players more firepower to help take down Thanos.
The new Fortnite upgrade also makes some general alterations, including lowering the elevation of the battle bus and a larger storm circle at the beginning of matches. These moves are intended to provide more players using a fair shot at playing as Thanos. A plan for acquiring the Infinity Gauntlet involved jumping out of the battle bus in the last moment and hovering in the air until the comet carrying the gauntlet crashed into the island.
