One afternoon, the POCA & POCA girl came upon a small door below the palace stairs, this little door had a golden doorknob with a pearl on it that glistened as though calling upon her to open it. When she did, what she saw was a mesmerizing scene – a flight of stairs covered in saffron yellow baby’s breath flowers leading down to a beautiful garden filled with the most exotic flowers and fauna, amongst a stunning backdrop of strikingly colorful creatures. Butterflies fluttered in the air, their vibrant wings in colors of stained glass glittering around stunning flowers, energetic bees with bodies gleaming in a saffron color buzzed around rose bushes extracting their sweet nectar, glamourous ladybirds with remarkable ruby red and black polka dot bodies lay tranquilly on the leaves of an almond tree, while emerald green dragonflies flew around the dense fauna. The POCA & POCA girl waved her hand in the air, and a cluster of effervescent fireflies lit up her path through the clandestine garden. All she can think about was how wonderfully beautiful it is to be in such a place, below the bustling palace… such a marvelous secret life. POCA & POCA draws inspiration from the mysterious beauty of the secret life, imagining a world full of grace, elegance and beauty with bold and striking colors derived from nature. The collection explores the glamour, sophistication and femininity in contrasting tones of saffron yellow, emerald green, noble navy, as well as classy black and white. Details include the dynamic elements of pearls which are infused on charming jumpsuits and elegant dresses, while gold buttons decorate refined long skirts and butterfly blouses. Sumptuous fabrics of tulle are draped over the shoulders of a jumpsuit and decorate the shoulders of a bubble blouse. Floral designs are laser-cut and added onto skirts and wide-leg pants for an ultra-feminine touch. To commemorate the secret life, POCA & POCA creates a woolen cape and skirt featuring embroidery of fur in pink, yellow, white and black – an artfully creative component added to the collection.
