Perhaps you have no real dreams. Maybe you've been sliding through life accepting what came your way as how it is meant to be. Did you ever actually sit down quietly and think about what you wish your life could look like? This is the first and most important step - defining what you truly want. You see, the universe cannot bring you the desires of your heart unless you first have a wish and declare it. It is up to you to decide what you want in your life. We call this intention, a thought if you will, that comes from a deep desire in the heart. Take a few minutes right now (it's too important to put off), and make a visible list on paper of what you truly want in your life. Read it often, daily if you wish, keeping that desire alive, because that is how your dreams will come to fruition.
What is on your list? Do they seem impossible to become reality? As long as you doubt your dreams can come true, they probably won't. People are really good at self-sabotage. They place an intention of their desire, but then block the entire process by doubts, (negativity), often because they are trying to figure out how to make it happen instead of allowing the universe to fulfill the dream. So this is step number two - Get out of the way! This is without a doubt a most difficult aspect of our lives - that of trusting the process to unfold in Divine timing without doing a single thing. Human beings, by nature, want to get in the middle and make it happen - control. Letting go of control - surrendering - is most difficult.
Many individuals are taught that in order to achieve anything you must work hard, head to the grindstone. You have probably been encouraged to set goals and take the steps to make them happen. This is stressful oftentimes, and requires many grueling hours to complete. While it may bring the desired results in the end, it took a lot of pushing and driving to facilitate. However, when you have placed your intention of your desire, surrendered the whole process to God and stepped out of the way, amazing things will happen without any effort on your part. It is a most incredible process, that of allowing Divine orchestration to unfold your plan as you patiently wait.
