What is SSSTS Course?

SSSTS is the abbreviated form for Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme. The SSSTS Training Course is authorized by the Construction Industry Training Board. On completion of this 2-day course, you will be awarded the certificate for safety plus accredited by CITB. The certificate is valid for five years and is renewable.

In every 5 years, you will have to renew the certificate qualification by doing the SSSTS refresher course and that too before the certificate expires. Otherwise, you will have to take the full test again.

Teaching and assessment

The SSSTS training course is highly interactive with group discussions, case studies, and presentations.

At the end of the course, the applicant has to give a test which consists of 25 questions out of which, there are 4 short written questions, carrying credit point in between 1 to 3. Remaining are the multiple-choice questions of 1 credit point.

Only after qualifying this exam, the delegates will be getting the certificate issued by CITB, which is valid only for 5 years and thereafter requires renewal. This course will help you in getting the CSCS Card further.
