Advantages In Study Abroad Programs
Experts say the number of Russians seeking high school study abroad programs will almost double in the very near future. The educational company Begin Group conducted studies that showed that a fourth of Russia's parents plan to send their children abroad for study, despite the fact that the cost of studying in foreign schools and universities has increased significantly.
In Russia, there are no accurate statistics regarding exactly how many Russian schoolchildren and students study abroad. But judging by expert data from travel agencies specializing in educational programs, approximately 30,000 Russians travel abroad every year to receive an education. The figure is impressive, isn't it? So why is this happening? The answer is obvious: low-quality education in Russian-speaking countries. Diplomas of the majority of Russian universities abroad are not quoted these days, and employers present such requirements to potential employees that the average graduate of a domestic university is simply not able to satisfy.
The benefits of studying abroad
Studying abroad, being an alternative to domestic education, has a number of undoubted advantages, namely:
1. high level of quality education, much attention is paid to the practical implementation of the knowledge gained;
2. students have the opportunity to practice in successful companies;
3. the chance to get a good, well-paid job depends on the outcome of the internship;
4. the learning process takes into account the individual abilities of each student;
5. teachers treat students as partners;
6. training students in such specialties as economics, marketing, advertising, the law is more complete - with the expectation of getting young highly qualified specialists;
7. a parallel study of a foreign language, the ability to communicate with native speakers;
8. acquaintance with the culture of the country of study, the opportunity to satisfy tourist interest;
9. obtaining an international diploma;
10. the prospect of obtaining citizenship and permanent residence after graduation;
11. the opportunity to enter a prestigious university after graduation;
12. the opportunity to earn extra money in their spare time from classes.
Of course, everyone decides for himself where to study - at home or abroad. In the end, the one who really seeks to gain knowledge and become an excellent specialist will become him - regardless of where he will receive his education. But if we talk about career growth, then foreign education undoubtedly provides much broader opportunities for this. However, it should be remembered that success can only be achieved through hard work. Good luck
