Growth of water weeds in rivers, canals and lakes causes increasing economic concern. They may spread so wildly that they partially clog waterways and impede the efficient utilization of such natural resources. AQUATIC WEED HARVESTING:

Aquatic Weed Harvesting is a well-established water weed removal technique. Mounted on a marine pontoon, a harvester is propelled in clogged waterways. Weeds are cut by suitable cutters, stored aboard harvester, fed at river banks to unloading conveyors, unloaded to vehicles and then land-transported. USE OF DOZER BOATS:

In another technique, weeds are pushed towards shores where they can be easily collected and transported. This technique is used in Lake Victoria; one of the African Great Lakes. This is accomplished by our HORUS-1 Multi-Purpose Dozer Boat built within the framework of an Egyptian-Ugandan project.
