Sum pump

In a forced circulation heating system in the heart, a circulation pump. The availability of heat and its quality depends on its stable operation. The same applies to a closed hot water system with constant water flow in the pipe between the boiler and the storage tank. During the process, the maintenance and repair of the circulation pump pose unavoidable problems so that it remains stable and reliable.

During normal operation of the pump, the following activities must be performed:

  1. Proper maintenance, taking into account all rules set by the manufacturer of pump equipment.
  2. Informing and maintaining the pump.
  3. Diagnosis and recovery in case of pump failure.

Working:

Many simple requirements apply to any circulation pump:

  • Do not leave the pump without water. Suitable for pumps and dry and wet types.
  • The pump must not operate with stopped water flow, e.g. when the valve is closed before or after the pump.
  • Due to the maximum and minimum capacity of the equipment, it is necessary to determine the best operating mode.
  • It is important to follow the manufacturer's requirements for water pressure in the system.
  • The coolant temperature must not exceed 65 ° C. Therefore, the circulation pump is installed in the return line in front of the boiler, and the cooled water circulates there. When a given threshold is exceeded, the process of depositing a hardness salt on the inner surface of the pump is accelerated several times.
  • Do not stop for too long. Ca. Once or twice a month, turn on the pump for 15 minutes. If this is not done, the oxidation process increases the risk of exposure.
  • It is unacceptable to use a circulating pump to pump dirty water and to contain dense particles in the suspension. Be sure to install a coarse filter or other device controlled by the purity of the water or coolant.

In an operating system, the pump must emit a uniform sound from the operating system, and the installed manometer controls the constant pressure value at the output. With proper operation, even the simplest circulating pump can work for up to 5 years until the main components are exhausted.

Maintenance:

Long-term service and trouble-free operation are only possible with appropriate operating conditions and regular sump pump maintenance. Maintenance is the inspection and cleaning of the pump for the specified period. Work inspections must be performed at least quarterly and twice during the heating season. It is recommended to clean every two to three years depending on the water quality and the operating conditions of the pump.

Periodically check pump operation for the duration of operation:

  • Check the connection point for leakage. Replace seals and gaskets (trail, FUM tape, etc.) during the show.
  • Visually visualize the Earth's presence and condition.
  • Noise, shock or strange noises should not accompany the engine part.
  • The engine should not vibrate too much.
  • Examine the pipeline pressure and compliance.
  • The hull must be clean and dry. If this is not the case, perform an external cleaning to check whether the electronic components are full and to eliminate the cause of the pump's humidity.

Every two or three years, the pump must be cleaned, including all its components. This only applies to models that can be dismantled. There are pumps with printed or fixed welded bodies that do not require repair or dismantling. These devices worked on a fault and were then replaced by new meetings. It is recommended to assign this work to the service center. But with the availability of skills and tools, you can do everything yourself.

Would need:

  • Phillips screwdriver.
  • Hex key;
  • Screwdriver (flat), 8 mm and 4 mm;

Before disassembling the pump, dispose of the water from the system or drain a separate part involving the pump, disassemble and then disassemble.

Procedure:

  1. Tighten 4-6 bolts around the perimeter of the motor housing at the junction of the pumpkin outer shell with a wrench or Phillips screwdriver.
  2. Remove the house when the fan remains on the rotor shaft with the motor.
  3. Draw four drain holes along the perimeter. Use a narrow screwdriver to hang the engine compartment slightly under the fan. As a result, the shaft with rotor and fan comes out of the neck and stator cup. If you screw the protective cap on the outside of the pump, put the screwdriver in the slot at the end of the shaft and use the light strap to release the shaft from the support frame to save your life.

The analysis is complete. It is now necessary to clean the rotor surface, the wheel and the inside and the inside of the shell (if applicable) without damaging the surface of the part. No coarse sand is allowed. It is best to use a brush with a polymer to work. The aid can be a cleaning agent containing a weak hydrochloric acid solution.
