I'm...still trying to determine how exactly this merchandise is going to get the job done. Presumably you set the item on the ground, then whack it with your pickaxe in order to establish you. But how far? And in the kind of direction?

My very first idea was that I didn't really understand how this would be different than say, a launch pad, that shoots you into glider range, or an impulse grenade, which hops you forwards. But I've a feeling that how it'll work is that you'll stand on it, then reach it, and then you are going to Cheap fortnite items ride the thing forward across land as the air goes out.

This might be a way to immediately close the gap onto a ground-based enemy, a method to quickly transfer between two great looting places, or a way to quickly escape the storm. And of course there's no way this just operates on water, since there isn't enough of this on the map, although it will probably be a good way to get across Loot Lake fairly quickly.
