Almost like a drug, your partner may seek a "narcissistic supply" and expect and crave lavish amounts of praise and adulation. Is preoccupied with fantasies of ideal love, beauty, power, and the like. Your partner may either hold you up as the extreme paragon of perfection (as long as you maintain his or her narcissistic supply), or devalue you at the opposite extreme as worthless or useless.
