When I was younger, I simply didn't know what I didn't know. Worse yet, I didn't even know that I didn't know what I didn't know!Though we have little or no experience, we will enter our adult life with a whole set of preconceived notions. By the age of 20 we have a lot of beliefs and ideas firmly implanted in our mind. Beliefs and ideas that control our thinking and therefore control the outcome of our lives.
I was raised in a poor family from a small town in south Georgia. We had a stable household with a good work ethic, but no one ever made much money. No one knew anything about financial management or investing. Like any child growing up in a poor family, I was exposed to a range of beliefs about money that controlled my thinking for years.After years of working, and progressing into running my own businesses, I began to realize that I had a tendency to under value myself, my products or my services.
