Weight Training to Build Your Leg Muscles

There are a few exercises that you have to One And Done Workout Review perform if you want to have huge muscular legs. The first is, of course, the squat, and is perhaps the best exercise for putting a lot of weight into the quadriceps. The squat is considered to be one of the most important exercises one can perform, as it is a compound lift that incorporates a lot of different muscle groups. In short, you get more out of it than just the energy you put into it! Take a look at professional weight lifters, who often do little more than just squatting. The world record for squatting (regardless of body weight) currently belongs to Shane Hamman, who puts up over one thousand pounds of weight. One look at his legs and you just know that squats are a huge muscle building exercise!

The other main exercise for building large muscular legs is the dead lift. This lift works the upper and lower back, the posterior chain and the hamstrings very well. Again, since the dead lift is such a large exercise and incorporates so many muscle groups into it, people are able to lift a huge amount of weight with the dead lift, which leads to a massively muscular body. Dead lifters are often known for their very thick lower backs and muscular hamstrings. Consider Andy Bolton, the current dead lift world champion, who is built like an animal and has incredibly large quadriceps and hamstrings.

If you want to become a professional bodybuilder, or just to look very muscular, it would be foolish not to squat and dead lift, as they will allow you to put a huge amount of muscle weight onto one of the biggest areas of your body, your legs. So, head on down to your local gym and start lifting, or, start looking for weights for sale and make your own home gym!
