The Miracle of Faith In God
Consciously, a man stopped making efforts to have faith Thought Manifestation Reviewin God for ten clear years. At the end, while he made quite some temporal success with his life, a good job, a great future, he never found a basis for living. He had this miraculous experience when one day, he knelt down, for the first time in ten years and called upon the name of God in prayer, asking for direction to be able to understand how and why he should have a relationship with Him.
First and instantly, he was relieved of a heavy burden on his person. He felt free and at peace. Then within one week, he came in contact with a man who had a magazine titled Ensign. It is published by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is a beautifully produced magazine, very colorful. In those days, while his peers spend their income on frivolities such drinks and women, he spent most of his resources buying books and magazines and reading them as if his whole life depended on it. Well, to a large extent, it did and still depends on reading. So this glossy magazine naturally attracted his attention. He requested to see it with the hope of finding where to obtain it. The visitor gladly obliged. But when he found it belonged to a religious organization, he threw it back at him. Remember had had stopped religious activities for ten years before then. This man virtually abandoned the purpose for which he came to his office that afternoon and begged that he read the magazine, promising it is different from what he had known.
He naturally finds beautifully packaged books and magazines irresistible so, he reluctantly accepted it. When he got home from work that day, he opened it and started reading. That was it. He did not rise from where he sat till the next morning during which he had read every word and sighted every picture in the magazine. He marveled that there is a God who relates in the ways he read from the Ensign with people. He desired to read more.
