Invoking the Magic of Synchronicity
But where is the magic when illness leads to deathManifestation Code System Review or when the things or people we need never appear? If there is true magic, why are the results so inconsistent? Science has taught us that our world is predictable, that it follows a set of very specific rules, but how do the scientists really know? Could it be that everything is just chance, that our existence is a meaningless jumble of events dominated by luck?
Several years ago, while in a period of intense study of healers and their methods, I traveled to California to learn from a healer I'd read about. Two days prior to leaving, I received an intuitive message that had nothing to do with the teacher I was planning to visit. The message was that I should examine the healing methods of Qigong.
In more than thirty years of study I've learned to listen to the sometimes-subtle nudges I receive from the Universe, though it took decades for me to give up my need for control and allow myself to be guided by something higher than my brain. The urging to study Qigong was so powerful I couldn't ignore it and I agreed to begin as soon as I returned home, though I had no idea what I might learn or how I would find a teacher. I had taken the critical first step; I had acknowledged a message from the world of Spirit and had consciously affirmed my intention to follow it.
Upon arrival in California, and while waiting to see the healer I'd come to visit, I encountered an elderly Chinese gentleman. We had talked only a couple of minutes-I had not mentioned my interest in Qigong-when he turned to me and said: "I have a Chinese master who teaches me Qigong. You should come and meet him."
