The Judges
An independent panel of internationally recognised and expert judges, representing the major fx industry sectors, will determine the winners of the FIMENA Awards 2015. The judges will bring their extensive knowledge, enthusiasm and expertise to the judging debate ensuring that the winning product or service is truly outstanding and worthy of receiving the ultimate accolade, a FIMENA Award 2015.
The panel is carefully selected to ensure the Awards judging process is fair and objective. The judges are bound by a strict confidentiality agreement and are required to declare any conflict of interest in entries over which they deliberate, and to stand aside from deliberations concerning those entries. The integrity of this process lies at the very heart of all that we do.
The Judging Process
A comprehensive judging process has been put together to decide the worthy winners of the FIMENA Awards 2015
1. After the closing date for receiving submissions (10 January 2015), all nominations will be sent to the judges for the first round of review.
2. Judges will independently evaluate the initial submission information received for each entry, and use the published judging criteria for each Award category to score the nominations.
3. Judges will submit their individual scores which will be collated and the top entries shortlisted for each category.
4. Shortlisted entrants will be informed and asked to submit additional supporting material for the final round of judging and in addition to this, shortlisted entrants in the FIMENA Awards 2015.
5. Judges will review and rescore shortlisted entrants based on the additional supporting material.
6. The winners for each category will then be determined by the tallied final scores submitted by the judges.
Confidentiality
We recognise and respect the sensitive nature of the information submitted in the entries. Entries are not disclosed or discussed outside the judging process. We do not publish the names of companies, organisations or individuals that have not won an Award, nor will we reproduce any information from your entry. Therefore if you enter the Awards, but are not successful, this will remain confidential.
In addition, entrants may mark any commercially sensitive information contained in their entry as ‘not for publication’. All entries and supporting material will be destroyed after the Awards presentation.
The organisers reserve the right to use information contained in the winning entries (apart from contact details and any content marked not for publication) for subsequent publicity, promotions and other activities relating to the Awards.
