إنشئت غرفة صناعة منتجات الأخشاب عام 1958 بالقرار الجمهورى رقم 453 لسنة 1958 يعتبر الغرض الأساسي من إنشاءها هو رعاية مصالح مصنعى الأخشاب والأثاث ، وتمثيلهم لدى الجهات العامة والخاصة فى الداخل والخارج. تم تغيير مسمى الغرفة الى غرفة صناعة منتجات الأخشاب والأثاث عام 2005 بموجب القرار الوزارى رقم 229 لسنة 2005

The Chamber of Wood Products Industry was established in 1958 by the Republican Decree No. 453 of 1958, the main purpose of which is to take care of the interests of wood and furniture manufacturers and represent them at public and private bodies at home and abroad. The name of the room was changed to the Chamber of Wood Products Industry and Furniture in 2005 under Ministerial Resolution No. 229 of 2005
