Is an Egyptian Textile & Fashion designer born and raised in Benha;Qalyubia in the year 1980;in a society where Women rights are not prevailing .She is fond of nature , people ,history and various human civilizations and was inspired by her surroundings characterized by beautiful sceneries and variety of colors .Nina grew up appreciating the hard work of young girls in harvesting oranges and cotton flowers.

In the late 90's Nina started her career as a part-time fashion designer ; marketer & event organizer while studying Applied Arts in Helwan University, studies that had to be interrupted and resumed in the faculty of Arts- Benha University where she got her Bachelor of Arts degree specialized in Media & Journalism.

Nina Shawki's independent designing career started in 2008 when she, suddenly discovered her newly born son's allergy from synthetic fibers and the scarcity of artistically designed bed sheets in cotton and natural fabrics. That was the turning point which led to the foundation of her brand "NINA SHAWKI COLLECTION '' a designing, production , sale and after-sale service ,business model. A unique business model that searching for workshops and factories which has difficulty in business to rent a production lines for manufacturing on weaving, embroidery ,printing , tailoring , sewing and packing mainly performed by women labor ,on beautifully designed cotton made bedding and towel line affordable for everyone's need.

"Nina Shawki Collection” is now a prominent brand online and exhibited in the local Egyptian market in the most prestigious designer’s show room and in international fairs sponsored by the biggest world companies.
