Born in Egypt, April 1991, into a family of many artistic talents Yasmine Fahmy followed her creative passion and attended Faculty of Fine Arts, Egypt in 2009. In 2012 she was one of the winners in the Egypt Design Industry competition and held her first exhibition in the same year. After studying the wonders of Islamic Art and working with her aunt; the famous designer, Randa Fahmy; Yasmine decided to go solo with her career. In 2014 she won the golden award for designer below 35 years and was given the great honour of representing Egypt at The Salone Satellite Milano, part of The Salone Internazionale del Meuble Milano. Today, Yasmine Fahmy’s work adorns some of the beautiful houses in Egypt and is on display in some of the most prestigious galleries and showrooms.
