Egypto German Office Supply or EGOS is an Egyptian trading company that originated in Cairo, Egypt in 1952 as a simple partnership company with a headcount of 5 employees lead by Mr. Hashem El Sherif as General Manager.

One of the proud moments in the history of EGOS was introducing the first photocopying machine to the Egyptian market. EGOS was the first private sector company to launch a photocopying machine to the public in 1952, for the next 8 years, they were the one and only player in the market until a couple of new company’s entered the market in the early 1960’s.

While doing that, EGOS started introducing personal computers as part of the pioneer entities in the office supplies business. EGOS are now considered to be one of the market leaders in the integrated office supply business.

During that period and until 2011, EGOS grew to be known as one of the key players in the digital copiers market.

The total headcount for all our branches covering Egypt is 125 employees that we are proud to have in the following branches:

1. Cairo Head Office: 60 employees.
2. Cairo Showroom: 5 employees.
3. Alexandria Branch: 35 employees.
4. Alexandria Showroom: 4 employees.
5. Zagazig Branch – Serving the Delta area: 10 employees.
6. Ismailia Branch – Serving the Canal area: 7 employees.
7. Sohag Branch – Serving the Upper Egypt area: 4 employees.

• 18% Sales & Marketing, Customer support and Sales services.
